Come join us on Thursday’s between 8am and 11am.  Members enjoy getting together to socialize, macramé, knit, crochet, tat, etc.  We also ‘show and tell’ our completed projects, which gives us ideas.   If a member has a problem with their project, there is always someone to help.  We have classes to teach knitting, crochet or special projects/techniques.

Members  knit and crochet for many charity projects which they complete on an ongoing basis.  Club members create afghans and booties for veterans and rehab centers; baby hats, booties and afghans for Del Webb Hospital; warm winter hats for school children;  scarves for the homeless in downtown Phoenix; and “Friendship Bags”, which we fill with toiletries and donate to abused women’s shelters.  The club’s newest project is to make “Treasure Bags” for the children at these shelters, and place one toy inside as a surprise for the children who receive them.
